Community Engagement

Work to serve children and families requires the support of formal and informal networks to create solutions that outlast agency intervention. In ground breaking work to address homelessness in Florida, I worked as a support to an organization that sought to bring over thirty partners to the table to provide a full array of community support for families struggling to improve their lives and find not only housing, but self-sufficiency and independence. This example of community engagement can be a great basis for other organizations and initiatives where engaging community partners expands available resources.

Multiple Approaches for Lasting Results

In my work, I assist with multiple approaches, including:

  • Developing training
  • Strategic planning processes
  • Community engagement retreats
  • Leadership facilitation
